Director Brian Johsz resides in the City of Chino Hills with his wife, Libbie, and their young children Stephen and Anna. Libbie is an elementary school teacher currently taking time off to raise their children.

Director Johsz grew up in Huntington Beach and attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana. He attended the University of California, Berkeley where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at Berkeley, he was President of his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta, active in campus honors societies, and wrote for various campus publications. Director Johsz also holds a Master of Public Administration degree with an Emphasis in Public Management from California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson.

Director Johsz is Director of Government Affairs for Athens Services. He also has previously worked for elected officials in the County of San Bernardino, Congress and the California State Legislature. He also has worked for a local non-profit youth organization.

Director Johsz is active in the Rotary Club of Rancho del Chino, where he serves on the Board of Directors and is Chair of the Public Relations Committee. He also serves on the local board for the Federal Selective Services System. President Johsz was appointed and serves on the Measure M Citizen’s Oversight Committee for the Chino Valley Unified School District.  Director Johsz currently serves on the City of Chino Hills Healthy Cities Steering Committee. He also served as a Commissioner on the San Bernardino County Trails and Greenways Commission.

In his personal life, Director Johsz enjoys camping, fishing, wine tasting, and traveling to attend Cal Berkeley athletic events with his family.
