Introduction

The Chino Valley Independent Fire District is comprised of three distinct Divisions: Administration, Fire Prevention and Operations.

The Operations Deputy Chief oversees the District's fire suppression staff, currently 87 employees, a Training Officer, Medical Director, EMS Coordinator, Auxiliary Workers, Work Release, and Fire Explorers.

In conjunction with the Fire Prevention Division, fire suppression staff assist with occupancy inspections, public educational demonstrations, monthly Fire and EMS training, while responding to just under 8,600 emergency calls for service in 2007.
