Biography

Director Andrew Romaine and his wife moved to the city of Chino Hills in 1999, where they raised two daughters.

Andrew graduated from Fullerton College and began his public service career in 1990 in the city of La Habra while concurrently working as a firefighter for the city of La Habra Heights. Andrew was hired as a firefighter with the city of Burbank in 2001 and diligently served the community until his retirement in 2022.

Andrew is a California State Fire Marshal certified Firefighter 1, Fire Fighter 2, Apparatus Driver/Operator, Company Officer, Hazardous Material Technician, Hazardous Material Specialist, and Emergency Vehicle Technician 1 and 2.

Andrew has coached local girls’ softball and assisted with coaching and refereeing for AYSO soccer. He has also participated in several community events throughout the Chino Valley. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys hiking, camping, mountain biking, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
