Harvey Luth is the president of the Chino Valley Fire District Board of Directors.

Biography

President Harvey Luth resides in the City of Chino with his wife, Stephanie. They have two grown children, Candice and Brandon.

Harvey grew up in Chino and the surrounding area and attended Ontario Christian School. He attended Cal Poly Pomona majoring in Business Management.

Harvey works for a supply company based in Burton OH as Vice President of Operations. He is responsible for managing facilities in the western United States.

Harvey has been active in many community groups and civic functions. He is a past Community Services Commissioner and past Planning Commissioner for the City of Chino. He also served the City of Chino on various committees including the Climate Action Plan Committee, General Plan Update Steering Committee, Design Review Board, and City Centennial Committee.

Harvey has served as an assistant coach for Chino Girls Fast Pitch Softball and as a coach and referee for AYSO. He also served on the Don Lugo Spirit Boosters as treasurer for three years and on two Grad Nite Committees.

Harvey is involved in Kiwanis and is a past President of the Chino Club. He has also served on the YMCA Board, the C.H.I.E.F.S. Board and currently serves as a board member for the 3-Way Thrift based in Chino. In 2003, the City of Chino awarded him with the Edwin Rhodes Community Service Award.

In his personal time, Harvey attends CrossPoint Church where he serves as a deacon. He likes to golf, work in his yard and spend time with his grandsons Carter and Henry.
