IT STARTED WITH COMPANY NO. 1
The Chino Valley Fire District began in 1895 as Chino Fire Company No. 1 and has since grown to include seven fire stations, housing over 100 professional firefighters. We pride ourselves on being highly trained and ready to respond to any type of emergency that the Chino Valley may face. Our firefighter/paramedics and specialized teams respond to structure fires, vegetation fires, medical aids, traffic collisions, confined space rescues, water rescues, hazardous materials incidents, and much more. Specialized teams include urban search and rescue, hazardous materials, and swift water rescue. Today, personnel respond to over 12,500 emergency incidents a year.
