The firefighters that makeup Chino Valley Fire’s Emergency Services department do much more than just put out fires. They are trained professionals that provide a variety of services, such as:

  • Physically inspect commercial and multi-residential buildings for fire safety violations.
  • Provide emergency medical services.
  • Provide advanced medical care, including pre-hospital 12-lead ECG’s, standing orders for patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome, and transcutaneous cardiac pacing.
  • Respond to traffic collisions where we can stabilize vehicles, extricate trapped patients, provide advanced medical care, request and coordinate the arrival of an air ambulance, and mitigate hazardous material spills, such as fuel.
  • Respond to hazardous materials incidents, swift water rescues, drowning incidents, downed power lines, and many more calls for service.
  • Perform non-emergency service calls, such as assisting with flooded buildings and homes.
  • Provide stand-by medical support at large events within the Chino Valley.
  • Perform investigations of suspicious fires.
  • Actively participate and/or sponsor a variety of community events, organizations, and fundraisers.
  • Work within the community to educate and raise general awareness on fire safety issues.
  • Give free fire station tours upon request.
  • Ensure fire permit requirements are complied with and current.
