Fourth of July Holiday Statistics

Chino Valley Fire District personnel, alongside Chino Police Department and Chino Hills Police Department personnel, confiscated 310 pounds of illegal fireworks and safe and sane fireworks from areas where fireworks are not allowed during this 4th of July holiday.

There were 59 fireworks related citations issued on the Fourth of July in the city of Chino. There were four fireworks citations written in the city of Chino Hills and unincorporated county areas. Offenders received a $1,000 fine for possession or use of illegal fireworks.

Chino Valley Fire District personnel responded to 13 fireworks related fires and one fireworks related injury in the Chino Valley.
